1 Scope
This standard specifies the medical technical requirements for the selection of submariners of manned submersibles, including. surgery, internal medicine, otolaryngology and stomatology, ophthalmology,
Neurology, gynecology (women), auxiliary examinations, special examinations, mental health and psychology, etc.
This standard is mainly applicable to the selection of submarines for manned submersibles.
2 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
2.1
Manned Submersible
It is a movable diving device that is driven and operated by a crew, with life support and auxiliary systems, and capable of underwater operations.
2.2
SubmersiblePilot
The driving and operating personnel of the manned submersible is the main manipulator who drives the manned submersible to dive and conduct underwater operations.
2.3
SubmersiblePilotInTraining
Through selection, trainees who have not yet obtained submarine qualifications.
2.4
Body Mass Index BodyMassIndex, BMI
A form of expression of the relationship between weight and height, body mass index (BMI) = weight (kg)/height square (m2).
3 Surgery
3.1 Height. The height of men should be 160cm~176cm; the height of women should be 158cm~170cm.
3.2 Body mass index. male BMI. 20≤BMI≤25, female BMI. 19≤BMI≤24, not in this range, unqualified, manned diving

3.3 Head deformation caused by various reasons, which affects the person wearing the mask, is not qualified.
3.4 Those with craniocerebral disease or injury are unqualified.
3.5 Bone or joint diseases or injuries, who still have sequelae after treatment, are unqualified.
3.6 Cervical bone hyperplasia and intervertebral disc disease are unqualified.
3.7 Chronic low back pain, joint pain, signs of decalcification, or recessive spina bifida, sacralization of the lumbar spine with low back pain are not qualified.
3.8 X-ray inspection should meet the following requirements.
a) The sacral crack exceeds 0.4cm or is accompanied by local sensation, movement disorders or deformities of the lower limbs, unilateral sacralization of the lumbar spine and sacral lumbar spine,
Unqualified;
b) Long bones and large joint films with trauma or osteonecrosis are unqualified.
3.9 Anal and rectal diseases, sequelae or recurring after treatment, are unqualified.
3.10 Those with multiple lipoma are not qualified.
