Preface
To implement the "People's Republic of China Environmental Protection Law" to reduce the adhesive in the production and use of the process of environmental and human health
Ring, protect the environment, the development of this standard.
This standard on the adhesive production process, the product of toxic and hazardous substances limit the requirements.
This standard has revised the "Technical Requirements Adhesive for Environmental Labeling Products" (HJ/T 220-2005). The main changes are as follows.
- increased the scope of application, the book binding adhesive included in the standard range;
- to adjust the production process of toxic and hazardous substances restrictions;
- Adjust the requirements for the limited amount of toxic and hazardous substances in adhesives for wood processing;
- Adjust the water-based packaging adhesive in the toxic and hazardous substances limited requirements;
- increased the shoes and bags with adhesive in the types of toxic and hazardous substances and limited requirements;
- Adjust the water-based construction adhesive in the toxic and hazardous substances limit requirements;
- adjust the solvent-based construction adhesive types and toxic and hazardous substances limited requirements;
- increased the body of the building adhesive in the toxic and hazardous substances limited requirements;
- Adjust the types and limits of toxic and hazardous substances in carpet adhesives;
- Increased the types and limits of toxic and hazardous substances in adhesives for book binding.

1 Scope of application
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, basic requirements, technical contents and test methods for adhesive-like environmental labeling products.
This standard applies to water-based packaging adhesives, construction adhesives, wood processing adhesives, shoes and bags with adhesives, carpets
Adhesives and book binding adhesive.

3 terms and definitions

4 basic requirements
4.1 product quality should meet the relevant product quality standards.
4.2 The pollutant discharge of the product manufacturer shall meet the requirements of the pollutant discharge standard stipulated by the state or local.
4.3 production enterprises in the production process should strengthen the clean production.
5 technical content
5.1 Production process requirements
5.1.1 The production process does not add benzene, toluene, xylene, ethylbenzene, halogenated hydrocarbons.
5.1.2 production process does not add phthalate, alkyl phenol polyoxyethylene ether, isothiazolone, organic tin, copper, cadmium, lead,
Chromium (VI) mercury, arsenic, barium (except barium sulfate), selenium and antimony.
5.2 Product requirements
5.2.1 Requirements for adhesives for wood processing
5.2.1.1 urea formaldehyde, phenolic and melamine formaldehyde gel products in the free formaldehyde, free phenol limit should meet the requirements of GB/T 14732.
5.2.1.2 The release rate of formaldehyde and total volatile organic compounds should meet the requirements of HJ 571.
5.2.2 Water-based packaging adhesive in the toxic and hazardous substances should meet the requirements of Table 1.

6.1 Technical content The detection of 5.2.1.1 shall be carried out in accordance with the method specified in GB/T 14074-2006; the detection of formaldehyde emission in 5.2.1.2

6.11 Technical content The detection of alkylphenol ethoxylates (APEO) in 5.2.3 and 5.2.5 is carried out in accordance with the method specified in ISO /IEC 14514-215.
