Environmental Labeling Product Technical Requirements Scanner
1 Scope of application
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, basic requirements, technical content and testing methods of scanner-based environmental labeling products.
This standard applies to all types of scanners.
This standard does not apply to other devices that have a scanning function.
2 Normative references

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this standard.
3.1 scanner scanner
A digital device for acquiring an image signal, wherein the acquired image file can be edited and stored by a computer or the like, or

3.2 sleep state sleep mode
After the product has stopped running for a period of time, it automatically enters a state of low energy consumption without shutting down.
3.3 The default time to enter sleep state default time to sleep mode
The time when the product preset by the manufacturer enters the sleep state after completing the basic function.
3.4 Standby mode standby mode
The product is connected to the grid with the lowest power state.
Note 1. This state can last for an infinite amount of time, and the user cannot change the power of the product in this state.
3.5 scan speed scan speed
The number of originals scanned per unit time. The unit uses the number of pages scanned per minute (PPM). This standard is indicated by the letter V.
4 basic requirements
4.1 Product quality should meet the requirements of the corresponding product quality standards; product safety performance should meet the requirements of GB 4943;
Capacity should meet the requirements of GB 9254 and GB 17625.1.
4.2 Pollutant emissions from product manufacturing enterprises shall comply with national or local standards for pollutant discharge.
4.3 Product manufacturers should strengthen clean production in the production process.
5 Technical content
5.1 Product Environmental Protection Design Requirements
5.1.1 Easy to disassemble design
The product should be detachable.
5.1.2 Easy to recycle design Plastic parts with a mass exceeding 25g or a planar surface area exceeding.200mm2 shall use a single type of polymer or blended poly
The compound is labeled according to the requirements of GB/T 16288. The type of polymer, copolymer or polymerization mixture used in the product shall not exceed 4 and is easily decomposed. Plastic parts may be dismantled without damaging the original parts and shall not contain metal objects that cannot be separated from the plastic.
5.1.3 Requirements for hazardous substances in parts and components In the outer casing and frame parts, except for the plastic parts adjacent to the heating and imaging components, chlorine and impurities shall not be used in the plastic parts.
For bromine polymers, flame retardants containing organochlorine compounds and organic bromine compounds should not be added. The phthalates listed in Appendix A shall not be added as plasticizers to plastic parts with a mass greater than 25g. The content of short-chained chlorinated paraffins (SCCPs) in plastic parts shall not exceed 0.1% (mass fraction) of the total number of plastic parts. Tributyltin (TBT) and triphenyltin (TPT) shall not be used in the product parts. Lead glass shall not be used as a formulation component of lead (Pb) and its compounds. The rechargeable battery that comes with the product should meet the requirements of HJ/T 238, and the dry battery should meet the requirements of HJ/T 239. Lead (Pb), cadmium (Cd), mercury (Hg), hexavalent chromium in plastic parts, metal parts, electronic components, solders and coatings
The content of harmful substances such as (Cr6), polybrominated biphenyls (PBBs) and polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs) should meet the limits specified in GB/T 26572.
Quantity requirements.
5.2 Product production stage requirements
5.2.1 Do not use hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HCFCs), 1,1,1-trichloroethane (C2H3Cl3), trichloroethylene (C2HCl3), dichloroethane
(CH3CHCl2), dichloromethane (CH2Cl2), chloroform (CHCl3), carbon tetrachloride (CCl4), bromopropane (C3H7Br)
The substance is used as a cleaning solvent.
5.2.2 Lead-free soldering process should be used during component assembly and connection.
5.3 Product energy requirements
5.3.1 The power of the product in sleep state shall comply with the requirements of Table 1. When the product has an external interface, it can be added according to Table 2.

5.3.2 The power in the standby state of the product shall not exceed 1W.
5.3.3 The product should have the function of automatically entering the sleep state, and the preset time to enter the sleep state should not exceed 15 minutes.
5.4 Product noise requirements
The noise limit of the product in working condition shall comply with the requirements of Table 3 and shall be expressed by the sound power LWA.

5.5 Product Packaging Requirements
5.5.1 Hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HCFCs) should not be used as blowing agents.
5.5.2 The total amount of heavy metals such as lead, cadmium, mercury and hexavalent chromium in packaging and packaging materials shall not exceed 100 mg/kg.
5.5.3 should be marked in accordance with GB/T 18455.
5.6 Product recycling stage requirements
Enterprises should establish a waste product recycling and recycling management system to provide information on product recycling and recycling.
5.7 Product Description Requirements
Product descriptions must be sold with the product and should include the following.
a) use maintenance instructions;
b) a description of the product power saving mode;
c) Information on recycling and recycling of products after disposal.
6 Test methods
6.1 The technical content of 5.3 is tested in accordance with the method specified in Appendix B.
6.2 The technical content of 5.4 should be tested in the factory default state, using A4 format 80g/m2 ordinary copy paper according to GB/T
The provisions of 7 of 18313-2001 are carried out.
6.3 Other requirements in the technical content shall be verified by means of document review in conjunction with on-site inspection.

Test procedure for power in the sleep state, preset delay time to enter sleep state, and power in standby state
B.1 Test conditions
B.1.1 Temperature. 18 ° C ~ 28 ° C
B.1.2 Relative humidity. 10% to 80%
B.2 power supply
a) The test power supply is AC (220 ± 1%) V and the power supply frequency is (50 ± 0.5) Hz.

B.3 Test equipment
The power meter has a resolution of 0.01W when the active power is not more than 10W; the active power measurement is greater than 10W and less than 100W.
When the amount is measured, the resolution is 0.1W; when the active power is greater than or equal to 100W, the resolution is 1W.
B.4 Test method
B.4.1 Beta
A developer (toner) consumption amount A4 for JB/T 6872 electrostatic copying machine was used.
B.4.2 Product Settings
a) The main parameters of the product (eg speed, energy saving mode) should be kept factory defaults;
b) The product and test paper shall be placed under the environmental conditions specified in B.1 for 1 h or longer before testing;
c) If the product has an automatic shutdown function, this function should be turned off during the test.
B.4.3 Preset time test to enter sleep state
a) Turn on the power of the power meter and set the working state, then connect the product to the power meter;
b) Set the power switch of the product to “on” state. After the product is warmed up, perform more than 1 page of scanning tasks.
Once done, record the duration of the product's sleep state.
B.4.4 Power test in sleep state
According to the procedure specified in B.4.3, wait for the product to go to sleep and stabilize, then start measuring its power consumption and record the measurement at the same time.
The duration of the test should be no less than 10 minutes.
B.4.5 Power test in standby mode
Turn off the power of the product. After the standby state of the product is stable, start measuring the power consumption and record the duration of the measurement.
The time should be no less than 10 minutes.
