1 Scope
This standard specifies the basic requirements for the application and issuance of pollutant discharge permits for the printing industry's pollutant discharge units, the determination of permitted emission limits,

This standard is applicable to guide the printing industry sewage discharge unit to fill in the national sewage license management information platform (hereinafter referred to as the sewage license platform).

The following terms and definitions apply to this standard.

Printing
Refers to the copying process of transferring a toner/colorant (such as ink) to a substrate using an analog or digital image carrier.
3.2
Printing industry
Refers to production activities such as typesetting, plate making, coating before printing, varnishing, laminating, foiling, and mounting after printing.
3.3
Printing industry pollutant emission unit
Refers to the sewage units engaged in the printing industry.
3.4
Printing ink
Refers to the substance used to print on the substrate in the printing process, mainly composed of binder, pigment, solvent, auxiliary and so on.
3.5
Relief printing
The graphic part of the finger print is higher than the non-graphic part.

Planographic printing
The printing method of the graphic part and the non-graphic part of the finger printing plate is almost on the same plane.

4 Reporting requirements for basic information of sewage units
4.1 General principles
The pollutant discharge unit shall fill in the corresponding information on the pollutant discharge permit platform in accordance with the requirements of this standard. Local ecological environment not included in the sewage permit platform
