a) The size range of steel bars has been expanded, and the size range of steel plates and pre-hardened steel bars has been added (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the.2008 edition);
b) The steel smelting method has been changed (see 6.1, 6.2 of the.2008 edition);
c) Added pre-hardened delivery state (see 6.2.2);
d) Added grades W6Mo5Cr4V2Co2, W10Mo2Cr4V5Co8 and W7Mo7Cr4V7Co11 and related technical requirements

1 Scope
This document specifies the ordering content, classification, size, shape and its allowable deviation, technical requirements, test methods, inspection specifications of high speed tool steel.

This document applies to hot-rolled and forged high-speed tool steel bars with nominal dimensions (diameter, side length, thickness or distance across flats) not exceeding 350mm
