Special requirements for easy fusion of gold-sensing thermal fuses
1 Scope
This part of GB/T 9816 specifies the technical requirements for mechanical, electrical, temperature and materials of the fusion-type gold temperature-sensitive thermal fuse.
This section applies to electrical appliances, electronic equipment and similar components used in general indoor environments to prevent them from malfunctioning.
Under the circumstances, there is an over-temperature, easy-to-fusion gold-type thermal fuse.
Note 1. Equipment is not necessarily designed to generate heat.
Note 2. The effectiveness of preventing over-temperature is related to the installation position and installation method of the thermal fuse and the current carrying capacity.
Note 3. It should be noted that the external creepage distance and clearance specified in Table 3 of GB/T 9816.1-2013 may be smaller than some electrical appliances or equipment under certain circumstances.
Standard requirements. In this case, when such equipment is installed with thermal fuses, measures should be taken to achieve creepage distances and clearances.

Note 4. Unless otherwise specified, the easy-to-fusion gold-sensing thermal fuses and thermal fuses in this section refer to the easy-to-fusion gold-sensing thermal fuses.
