Foreword
GB/T 9771 "Single Mode Optical Fiber for Communication" is divided into the following 7 parts.
---Part 1.Non-dispersion shifted single-mode fiber characteristics;
---Part 2.Characteristics of cut-off wavelength shifted single-mode fiber;
---Part 3.Characteristics of non-dispersion-shifted single-mode fiber with extended wavelength band;
---Part 4.Dispersion-shifted single-mode fiber characteristics;
---Part 5.Non-zero dispersion shifted single-mode fiber characteristics;
---Part 6.Characteristics of non-zero-dispersion single-mode optical fiber for wide-wavelength optical transmission;
---Part 7.Characteristics of single-mode optical fiber with insensitive bending loss for access network.
This section is Part 4 of GB/T 9771.
This section was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This part replaces GB/T 9771.4-2008 "Single-mode optical fiber for communication Part 4.Dispersion-shifted single-mode optical fiber characteristics".
Compared with GB/T 9771.4-2008, the main technical changes are as follows.
--- Added classification and rounding rules (see Chapter 5, Chapter 6);
--- Added.200μm and 500μm coating diameters and tolerances,.200μm fiber coating concentricity error requirements (see
7.1.1);
--- Modify the optical characteristics and transmission characteristics to transmission characteristics, and adjust the mode field diameter from the size parameter to the transmission characteristics (see 7.1,
7.2, 5.1 and 5.2 of the.2008 edition);
--- Removed the attenuation coefficient requirement for the 1625nm wavelength (see 5.2.3 of the.2008 edition)
--- Increased attenuation uniformity requirements (see 7.2.4);
--- Removed the note about the cut-off wavelength of the jumper cable (λcj) and the cut-off wavelength of the fiber under special circumstances (see 5.2.1 of the.2008 edition);
--- Modify the tension value corresponding to the screening stress (see 7.3.1, 5.3.1 of the.2008 edition);
--- Removed the tensile strength requirements for gauge lengths of 1m, 10m, and 20m (see 5.3.2 of the.2008 edition);
--- Modified the peeling force requirements of the coating layer (see 7.3.4, 7.4.3,.2008 version 5.3.4, 5.4.3);
--- Increased the requirement of environmental attenuation of 1625nm wavelength light attenuation (see 7.4.2);
--- Increased the correspondence between GB/T 9771 and IEC standard and ITU-T standard single-mode fiber code (see Appendix A).
