This document replaces GB/T 9754-2007 "Specular gloss at 20°, 60° and 85° for paints and varnishes without metallic pigments"
Compared with GB/T 9754-2007, in addition to structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.

1 Scope
This document describes a method for measuring the gloss of coatings at three geometries. 20°, 60° or 85°.
This document applies to the gloss measurement of non-textured coatings on flat, opaque substrates.
Note. When the sample being measured is different from the sample mentioned above, its gloss can be compared. However, there is no guarantee that the gloss value obtained will be consistent with the visual gloss.
