Foreword
This standard is equivalent to international standards ISO 4507.2000 "carburizing or carbonitriding iron-based sintered material was measured by a micro hardness test
Effective hardened layer depth and test methods for verification "(in English).
This standard and ISO 4507.2000 technical differences and editorial changes as follows.
--- Remove the ISO 4507.2000 in the preface.
This standard replaces GB/T 9095-1988 "Sintered ferrous materials, carburizing or carbonitriding determine the depth of hardened layer."
This standard is proposed and managed by China Machinery Industry Federation.

Sintered ferrous materials, carburized or
Determination of the depth of hardened layer carbonitriding and verification
1 Scope
This standard specifies the method for determining the depth of hardened layer Sintered ferrous materials, carburizing or carbonitriding with micro hardness testing method.
This standard applies to quenched iron-based sintered material.
2 Normative references
The following documents contain provisions which, through reference in this standard and become the standard terms. For dated references, subsequent
Amendments (not including errata content) or revisions do not apply to this standard, however, encourage the parties to the agreement are based on research
Whether the latest versions of these documents. For undated reference documents, the latest versions apply to this standard.
ISO 4498.2005 Sintered metal carbide material does not include the determination of apparent hardness and microhardness
3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this standard.
3.1
CHD
CHD represents hardened layer from the surface to a predetermined value and a considerable distance from the point of hardness.
Rule 4
Step 2 according to ISO 4498, Test Method for Determination of Vickers hardness. It is measured in a cross section perpendicular to the surface of conduct, as
The distance from the surface hardness of the curve, to determine the hardened layer depth (Method A) by the graphic method. Read from a predetermined curve of hardness values
Corresponding to the depth of hardened layer, the hardness value is usually prescribed 550HV0.1.
Other interested parties may agree on the hardness value as specified value, the specified value use the tag HG (indicated value), said to distinguish the standard value.
The standard refers to HG 550HV0.1 predetermined value (which is the standard value), with the value calibrated hardened layer depth.
A method can be simplified for the rapid detection method (Method B). In Method B, for the known approximate depth of hardened layer on both sides of the appropriate two
Positions hardness measurements confirm hardening depth by interpolation.
5 Test Instruments
5.1 micro Vickers hardness tester
The specified test load 0.9807N (HV0.1), with an accuracy of ± 1%.
5.2 Testing Instrument
Indentation diagonal length measuring microscope scale value accuracy ± 0.5μm.
6 Methods
6.1 General
When the hardness measured by the relevant parties agree to select the determined location, hardness measurement surface should be perpendicular to the surface of the sample cross section. use
Vickers diamond indenter test load 0.9807N (HV0.1).
