1 Scope

This standard defines common terms for molds. It consists of general terms and die, plastic die, die-casting die, forging die, powder metallurgy die, drawing die, extrusion die Composed of terms such as pressure mold, roll mold, glass mold, rubber mold, ceramic mold, and casting mold. This standard applies to the understanding and use of common terms used in molds.

2 Terms and definitions

2.1 General terms 2.1.1 Mould Process equipment for shaping (forming) materials into products and parts with specific shapes and sizes. Including. hammer forging die, mechanical press forging die, screw press forging Die, hydraulic forging die, flat forging die, etc. 2.1.1.5 Powder metallurgy mold The metal and non-metal powders are formed or formed into molds for blanks and parts through powder metallurgy. Including. pressing mold, isostatic pressing mold, Injection mold, extrusion mold, shaping mold, etc. 2.1.1.6 Drawing die The metal blank is extended and deformed through the die hole under the action of tensile force into a mold for products and parts such as bars, wires, wires, profiles, parts, etc. Including. steel drawing dies, cemented carbide drawing dies, diamond drawing dies, diamond coating drawing dies, ceramic drawing dies, etc. 2.1.1.19 Fixed compression mold The upper and lower molds are fixed on the working table of the molding equipment, and all the molding processes are performed on the compression molds on the molding equipment. 2.1.1.20 Mobile injection mold The upper and lower molds are not fixedly connected to the molding equipment, and the processes of loading, mold clamping, mold opening, and unloading are moved outside the working table of the molding equipment The injection mold (see Figure 92). 2.1.1.21 Fixed injection mould The upper and lower molds are fixed on the working table of the molding equipment, and all the molding processes are performed on the molding equipment. 2.1.1.22 Co-extrusion die Different molding materials are used, and two or more extruders are respectively used for plasticizing and melting, forming an extrusion die of the same profile. 2.1.1.23 Multi-cavity extrusion die In the same mold, two (species) or more than two (species) extrusion molds are formed at the same time. 2.1.1.24 Metal mold < Plastic mold> Hot forming molds made of metal materials, mainly aluminum alloy molds, zinc alloy molds, low melting point alloy molds, etc. 2.1.1.25 Metal mold < Ceramic mold> A ceramic mold made of metal materials. 2.1.1.26 Forming die < Die> A die for plastically deforming a sheet (blank) to shape products or parts. 2.1.1.27 Forming die < Forging die> A flat forging die for upsetting the blank into a desired shape. 2.1.1.28 Punching die < Die> is used to separate out the blanking die with closed inner contour products and parts. 2.1.1.29 Punching die < Forging die> Cut off the inner skin of the part hole to make it a die for the through hole (see Figure 17). 2.1.1.30 Plastic mold Correct the part to make its shape, size and precision meet the requirements of the mold (see Figure 36, Figure 37). 2.1.1.31 Impression mold The mold used to press concave and convex prints on the surface of the part. 2.1.1.32 Smart mold Moulds with functions of perception, analysis, decision-making, and control. 2.1.1.33 Multifunctional mold Integrated mold (forming), connection, assembly and other functions. 2.1.1.34 Formwork < Roller die> is used to install the combination of die roll and anvil roll. 2.1.1.35 Formwork < Punch die, forging die, powder metallurgy die, glass mold> a combination of guide device and die seat or seat plate, template and other parts (see Figure 84 Middle 2). 2.1.1.35.1 Standard formwork (universal formwork) The structure type and size are standardized, serialized, and the mold base is composed of a complete set of interchangeable parts. 2.1.1.35.2 Quick change mold base By replacing the convex and concave molds and positioning elements, etc., the requirements for completing different forming processes and producing products and parts of various specifications can be quickly made.
