This standard is in accordance with GB/T 1.1-2009 given rules drafted.
This standard replaces GB/T 8740-2005 "casting bearing alloy ingots." Compared with GB/T 8740-2005, major changes in this standard
as follows.
--- Increased from grades 9-11. Tin-based alloys increase SnSb9Cu7 grades; lead-based alloys increase PbSb16Sn16Cu2
Grades.
--- Individual chemical constituents were modified. SnSb11Cu6 grades of bismuth in the modification of ≤0.05% ≤0.08%; SnSb11Cu6 card
Number of arsenic by a modification of ≤0.05% ≤0.1%.
--- The requirement to remove the physical properties of products. While in the test method to delete the test methods of physical properties.
--- Increased production requirements for product sampling.

1 Scope
This standard specifies the cast tin-based, lead-based bearing alloy ingots requested products, test methods, inspection rules and signs, packaging, transportation and storage
