Foreword
This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard replaces GB/T 8722-2008 "Method for determination of medium-temperature thermal conductivity of graphite materials".
Ratio, the main technical content changes are as follows.
--- Added terms and definitions (see Chapter 3);
--- Increased the direction of longitudinal heat flow sample sampling (see 4.4.1);
--- Modified the number of measurements of longitudinal heat flow test (see 4.5.6, 6.6 of the.2008 version);
--- Added flash method (see Chapter 5);
--- Modified the contents of the test report (see Chapter 6, Chapter 9 of the.2008 edition).
This standard is proposed by China Iron and Steel Industry Association.
This standard is under the jurisdiction of the National Steel Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC183).

Method for determining thermal conductivity of carbon materials
1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions of thermal conductivity of carbon materials, principles, equipment, sample requirements, test procedures, calculation of results, and tests.
Reports, etc.
This standard applies to the determination of the thermal conductivity of carbon materials.
2 Normative references
The following documents are essential for the application of this document. For dated references, only the dated version applies to this article
Pieces. For undated references, the latest version (including all amendments) applies to this document.
GB/T 1427 Carbon material sampling method
GB/T 8170 Numerical rounding rules and expression and judgment of limit values
3 terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
Thermal conductivity
The heat transferred through the unit area of the material along the heat flow direction under the unit temperature gradient per unit time, which is used to characterize the thermal conductivity of the material
ability.
4 Method 1. Longitudinal heat flow method
4.1 Scope
It is suitable for the measurement of thermal conductivity of bulk carbon materials at 100 ℃ ~ 800 ℃.
4.2 Principle
Directly energized longitudinal heat flow method. When a cylindrical sample passes DC, the heat generated is mainly conducted along the longitudinal direction of the sample to both ends. Reach
After thermal stability, it is considered that there is one-dimensional longitudinal heat flux on the sample, and the heat exchange between the sample and the lateral environment is corrected.
4.3 Equipment
4.3.1 Micrometer. range is 0mm ~ 25mm, accuracy is 0.01mm.
4.3.2 Vernier caliper. Accuracy is 0.02mm.
4.3.3 Ni-Cr-Ni-Si armored thermocouple. bare type. Thermocouple wire diameter 0.4mm ~ 0.5mm.
4.3.4 Precision digital temperature display instrument. resolution 0.1 ℃, accuracy ± 1.3%.
4.3.5 DC digital voltmeter. resolution 0.001mV, accuracy ± 0.006%.
4.3.6 Fixed value shunt. 500A/75mV, class 0.2, with DC millivolt meter with corresponding accuracy. Or the digital voltmeter specified in 4.3.5.
