Foreword
This standard is identical with ISO 171. 1980 "Determination of the plastic molding material --- coefficient of volume" (in English).
This standard is equivalent translation ISO 171. 1980, the same technical content.
To facilitate the use of ISO 171. 1980 made the following editorial changes.
--- The "this International Standard" by "this standard";
--- Remove the ISO 171 foreword, preface to increase the national standards;
--- The "normative references" in a chapter of an international standard with the national standards adopted in place of the file, delete the ISO 554.
1976 "for conditioning and/or testing standards of environmental norms";
--- Chapter 4, "the apparent density and density calculations required volume factor should be measured at the same temperature ISO 554 stipulated" to

1 Scope
This standard specifies the method for the determination of density and apparent density of molding the molding material when not molded after volume factor.
Molding material volume factor is to calculate the minimum volume of the mold cavity design basic data.
