Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009. This standard replaces GB/T 8184-2004 "Rhodium Electroplating Solution". Compared with GB/T 8184-2004, the main technical changes of this standard are as follows. ---Modified the normative references (see Chapter 2, Chapter 2 of the.2004 edition); --- Added the chemical formula of rhodium sulfate Rh2(SO4)3 nH2O (see 3.1); ---Added regulations on the chemical composition of rhodium sulfate solution (see Table 1); --- The determination method of rhodium content "according to the method in Appendix A" is revised to "according to GB/T 34609.1" (see 4.1,.2004 Version 5.1); ---The determination method of impurity elements is added in accordance with GB/T 34609.2 (see 4.2); --- The requirements for sampling and dilution for dissolution test have been revised (see 4.3, 4.4 of the.2004 edition); --- Deleted the preparation and test content of the electroplating test piece (see the.2004 edition of 4.5, 4.6, 5.3.1, 5.3.2); ---Revised the sampling regulations (see 5.4, 6.4 of the.2004 edition); ---Added the provisions for rounding and judging the value of the test results (see 5.5.1). 1 Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging, transportation, storage, quality certificates and orders for rhodium sulfate Single (or contract) content.
