Foreword
This standard was drafted in accordance with GB/T 1.1-2009 given rules.
This standard replaces GB/T 8018-1987 "Determination of oxidation stability of gasoline (induction period method)" This standard GB/T 8018-1987
Compared to the main changes are as follows.
--- Standard name from "Determination of oxidation stability of gasoline (induction period method)" was changed to measuring the induction period "of the oxidation stability of gasoline
law";
--- To increase the "scope" section (see Chapter 1);
--- SI units, remove the imperial units, such as pressure is measured in kilopascals (kPa), the temperature in degrees Celsius (℃);
--- Added "Normative references" (see Chapter 2);
--- Turning point for the definition of the description made changes and 13.8kPa modify 14kPa (see 31, 1987, version 2.1.);
--- Added "Method" (see Chapter 5);
--- On the thermometer more options (see 62, 1987, version 3.2.);
--- Of toluene purity requirement was amended, the "chemically pure" to "analytical grade or purity ≥99%" (see 7.1, 1987 edition
4.1);
--- Increased the oxygen purity requirements "pure oxygen, or purity ≥99.6%" (see 7.4);
--- An increase of Chapter 8 sample content;
--- The cleaning liquid detergent choose to rewrite the text from the comment section, and washing steps and requirements has been modified (see 9.1,1987
In version 5.1);
--- For sample loading sequence has been modified (see 101, 1987 version 6.1.);
--- Pressure conditions were changed as 7kPa instead of 6.89kPa, 14kPa instead of 13.8kPa, 690kPa ~ 705kPa replaced
689kPa (or 689kPa ~ 703kPa) and so on (see Chapter 10 and Appendix A, 1987 edition of Chapter 6 and Appendix A);
--- Pressure release rate was amended to require "the release time of less than 2min" (see 10.1 and 10.4, and 6.1 of the 1987 edition
6.4);
--- Complements the termination of the test conditions (see 10.2);
--- Oxygen bomb cooling methods were more detailed requirements (see 10.4);
--- Calculation expression induction period had been revised (see 112, 1987 version 7.1 and 7.2.);
--- The report was amended to require the measurement results taken integer value (see 12.1, Chapter 9, 1987 edition). If the test is stopped
When the turning point was not observed in case of the test reporting requirements see 12.2 and 12.3;
--- On precision requirements was amended to supplement the applicable conditions (see 131, Chapter 8, 1987 edition.);
--- To increase the "standard deviation has not been determined" (see 13.2);
--- Appendix A.1 oxygen bomb and related accessories Figure A.1 have changed, more length requirement is a range. Oxygen bomb materials provided
Appendix A.3 --- there are changes to a glass vial and cap size requirements, a range of values greater length requirements (see A.3 and
Figure A.2 and Legend, 1987 edition of A.3 and A.2);
--- Appendix A increased the pressure relief valve of claim (see A.5);
--- Appendix A partial oxidation bath require the installation of non-self-resetting thermostat to prevent the liquid bath burned dry, and provides additional oxidation bath
--- Appendix A provides more choices for the thermometer (see A.10);
--- Remove Appendix B;
--- Remove Appendix C, prevention of toluene is described in sections 7.1, chromic acid lotion precautionary statements, see 9.1;
--- Increase the informative Appendix B, providing a solid sample bath temperature calibration methods.
This standard uses redrafted Law Revision using American Society for Testing Materials Standards ASTMD525-12a "Determination of oxidation stability of gasoline
France (induction period method). "
This standard when using ASTMD525-12a made some modifications. The main technical difference between the Standard and ASTMD525-12a
Isobutyl and the following reasons.
--- Increase the range of the car with ethanol content of gasoline, "This standard applies to motor gasoline, ethanol gasoline in tune oil and car components
Ethanol to gasoline and other products ";
--- The ASTMD525-12a range 1.1 warnings noted in A.5; the Note 2 will indicate in its 13.1; remove its scope in
Off warning of mercury;
--- For Normative references This standard adopts the ASTM standard and our respective standards (see Chapter 2);
--- Thermometer specifications for an increase of the standard requirements (see 6.2 and A.10);
--- Increased in the instrument "50mL graduated cylinder" (see Chapter 6);
--- Clear toluene, acetone, oxygen purity level (see Chapter 7);
--- In Chapter 8 Sampling adds the sampling should be dark manganese-containing gasoline sample content;
--- Increased 9.1 warnings for safe use of strong oxidants such as chromic acid to provide information;
--- The ASTMD525-12a in "through until the oxygen pressure of 690kPa ~ 705kPa" to "slow bubbling of oxygen until the pressure
Lida 690kPa ~ 705kPa "(see 10.1);
--- Of ASTMD525-12a "when the induction period than the time required for the product can also stop the test," the standard for the representation
Was amended to read "If the sample has a specific product specifications, when the test exceeds the corresponding observation time, but the turning point has not yet
Appears, then the test can be stopped as needed "(see 10.2);
--- Increasing the "total pressure" is defined in 12.3;
--- Removed ASTMD525-12a Keywords chapter;
--- A.1.4 in the steel oxygen bomb material specifications meet the increased requirements of the relevant standards of content;
--- A.9 Note content added "electric heating bath temperature of the sample calibration method can refer to Appendix B".

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
Turning point breakpoint
Pressure - that in 15min pressure drop reached this point before the time curve 14kPa, at this point 15min after the pressure drop
Not less than 14kPa, it is the turning point.
3.2
Induction period inductionperiod
From the oxygen bomb placed in 100 ℃ bath to a turning point between the elapsed time in minutes (min) Fig.
4. Summary
Oxidation of the sample in an oxygen bomb, this bomb first oxygen at 15 ℃ ~ 25 ℃ under the charge of oxygen to 690kPa ~ 705kPa, then at 98 ℃ ~ 102 ℃
Under heating conditions. Predetermined time interval pressure reading, pressure or continuous recording until you reach the turning point. Sample needed to reach the turning point
The induction time is measured under the test temperature. Thus the measured induction period can be calculated during the induction phase 100 ℃.
