This standard is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard replaces the following 12 radio and television terminology standards.

GB/T 7400.2-1987 "Radio and Television Terminology Radio Radio";
GB/T 7400.3-1987 "Terminology of radio and television terminology cable broadcasting";
GB/T 7400.4-1987 "Terminology of radio and television terminology satellite broadcasting";
GB/T 7400.5-1987 "General terms" for radio and television nouns for sound broadcasting ";
GB/T 7400.6-1987 "General terms of radio and television terminology for television broadcasting";
GB/T 7400.7-1987 "Radio and television terminology television broadcasting visual and image quality";
GB/T 7400.8-1987 "Radio and television terminology television broadcasting signals and their characteristics";
