Foreword
This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for standardization work Part 1.Structure and drafting rules for standardization documents"
Drafting.
This document replaces GB/T 6930-2002 "Vocabulary of Rolling Bearings". Compared with GB/T 6930-2002, except for structural adjustment and editing,
In addition to the changes in performance, the main technical changes are as follows.
a) The scope of application of the standard has been refined (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the.2002 edition);
b) Added 161 terms and definitions such as "bearing", "coated bearing" and "spherical bearing unit" (see Chapter 3);
c) 120 terms and definitions related to linear motion rolling bearings, tolerances, life, etc. have been deleted (see Chapter 3,.2002 Edition
01~07);
d) The definitions of related terms such as "radial bearing" and "thrust bearing" have been changed (see Chapter 3, 01 to 07 of the.2002 edition).
This document is equivalent to ISO 5593.2023 "Rolling bearing vocabulary".
The following minimal editorial changes were made to this document.
--- For ease of use, an index of Chinese terms given in alphabetical order of Chinese phonetic letters has been added.

Introduction
0.1 General
This document lists the commonly used terms and their explanations in the field of rolling bearing technology. This document covers the recognized and commonly used terms.
This document also covers some of the rolling bearing industry's terminology that is defined in other rolling bearing standards.
Rolling bearing standards related to Geometrical Product Specifications (GPS) published after this document may contain additional terms and definitions.
0.2 Vocabulary Arrangement
This document includes.
---Terms and their definitions, grouped and sorted by subject;
---Index number of graphics and related terms;
---An alphabetical list of terms and their index numbers.
0.3 Graphics Arrangement
The figures are in principle arranged in the order of the terms they represent.
Each drawing generally shows only one example of the various configurations of a bearing or component and includes an index number for the relevant term.
The shape is simplified and unnecessary details are omitted.
Rolling bearing vocabulary
1 Scope
This document defines the terms and definitions for rolling bearings and their technical field.
This document covers terminology relevant to all types of rolling bearings. The principal degree of freedom of a bearing is continuous rotation about an axis defined by
A group of rolling elements arranged in an orderly manner between two raceways is formed. Within a specific radial and/or axial range, the load can be between the rolling elements and the rings.
This document also covers the terminology for accessories related to these products.
This document does not cover the following terms.
--- Terms specified in ISO 76, ISO 281 and ISO 1132-1;
--- A narrow term used only in a specific standard for rolling bearings.
2 Normative references
This document has no normative references.
3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
The URLs for terminology databases used in standardization work maintained by ISO and IEC are as follows.
3.1 Bearings (mechanical)
3.1.1 Rolling bearings
3.1.1.1
Bearing
A mechanical component used to support and/or guide relative motion of other parts of the mechanism.
3.1.1.2
Rolling bearing
A bearing that performs rolling (not sliding) motion between parts that bear loads and move relative to each other.
Note 1.See Figures 1 to 33.
Note 2.Includes parts with raceways and rolling element groups with or without spacing or guiding elements.
Note 3.It can be used to bear radial, axial or combined radial and axial loads.
3.1.1.3
Single-row bearings
Single-row rolling bearings
A rolling bearing having one row of rolling elements.
Note. See Figures 1 to 4, 6, 8 to 15, 17, 21 to 24, 27 to 31 and 158.
