1 Scope

This standard specifies the new constantan resistance alloy product classifications, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, modes of supply, packaging and marking. This standard applies to the manufacture of various electrical rheostat and resistive elements maximum use temperature of 500 ℃ new constantan wire and strip.
