Foreword
This standard was drafted in accordance with GB/T 1.1-2009 given rules.
This standard replaces GB/T 5753-2008 "Determination of total thickness and cover thickness of steel cord conveyor belt", and
GB/T 5753-2008 compared to the main technical changes are as follows.
--- Increasing the sources of measurement of coating thickness of the sample (see 5.1);
--- Modify the label location map measuring point and the detection of the sample (see Figure 2; 2008 edition of the FIG. 1);
--- Modify the cover layer thickness of letter code (see 5.4; 2008 version 5.3);
--- Increased by reference.
This standard uses the translation method identical with ISO 7590. Determination of "steel cord conveyor belt and the total thickness of the cover layer thickness of 2009
method".
This standard made the following editorial changes.
--- Added "This standard applies to steel cord conveyor belt" in scope;
--- With "GB/T 17044" instead of "ISO 8094";
--- Corrected Fig. 4, s3, s8 errors painting (see Figure 4).
The standard proposed by China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Association.
This standard by the National Standardization Technical Committee pulley and the belt conveyor Technical Committee (SAC/TC428/SC1) centralized.

Steel cord conveyor belt
Determination of total thickness and cover thickness
1 Scope
This standard specifies three test methods for steel cord conveyor belt and the total thickness of the cover layer thickness measurement.
This standard applies to steel cord conveyor belt.
Method A1 and A2 (thickness gauge method) for the determination of total thickness and cover thickness all steel cord conveyor belt.
Method B (optical method) is recommended only for measuring the thickness of the cover layer.
This standard does not apply to the case with a fabric or metal cross member or the cutting end face twisted rope happen.
2 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
2.1
The buffer layer breaker
Contained in the coating layer enhancement layer.
2.2
Transverse member weft
For reinforcing the tape core, are not considered part of the lateral layer covering layer.
Principle 3
Bandwidth predetermined thickness measuring points with the total thickness.
Cover thickness measurement can optionally be one of the following methods.
a) the removal of the cover layer before the next and after detection sample thickness was measured at several points specified, then subtraction Cover
Cap thickness;
b) with optical instruments directly measure the thickness of the cover layer.
4 device
4.1 Method A1 and A2 are used to rotate the pointer thickness gauge
The device measurement accuracy of 0.1mm, diameter flat round head is 10mm, the ram pressure applied to the specimen for the detection of 22kPa ±
5kPa.
4.2 Method B used in the optical measuring device
The apparatus should include a hand-held magnifying glass with an accuracy of 0.1mm, the magnification should be at least eight times.
