Introduction
GB/T 5750 "Standard Test Methods for Drinking Water" is a recommended national standard for drinking water testing technology.
The supporting work of the "Sanitary Standard for Drinking Water" is an important technical support for GB 5749, and is an important technical support for the implementation of GB 5749 and the development of the sanitation of drinking water.
Safety evaluation provides testing methods.
GB/T 5750 consists of 13 parts.
--- Part 1.General. The purpose is to provide the basic principles and requirements for water quality inspection.
--- Part 2.Collection and preservation of water samples. The purpose is to provide a basis for water sample collection, preservation, management, transportation and sampling quality control.
These principles, measures and requirements.
--- Part 3.Water quality analysis quality control. The purpose is to provide quality control requirements and methods for water quality inspection and testing laboratories.
--- Part 4.Sensory properties and physical indicators. The purpose is to provide corresponding test methods for sensory properties and physical indicators.
--- Part 5.Inorganic non-metallic indicators. The purpose is to provide corresponding test methods for inorganic non-metallic indicators.
--- Part 6.Metal and metalloid indicators. The purpose is to provide corresponding test methods for metal and metalloid indicators.
--- Part 7.Comprehensive indicators of organic matter. The purpose is to provide corresponding test methods for comprehensive indicators of organic matter.
--- Part 8.Organic matter indicators. The purpose is to provide corresponding test methods for organic matter indicators.
--- Part 9.Pesticide indicators. The purpose is to provide corresponding test methods for pesticide indicators.

Part 6.Metal and metalloid indicators
1 Scope
This document describes the content of aluminum, iron, manganese, copper, zinc, arsenic, selenium, mercury, cadmium, chromium (hexavalent), lead, silver, molybdenum, cobalt, nickel, barium, titanium, vanadium,
Determination methods for antimony, beryllium, thallium, sodium, tin, tetraethyl lead, ethyl mercuric chloride, boron, asbestos and determination methods for aluminum, iron, manganese, copper, zinc, arsenic, selenium, mercury,
Cadmium, chromium (hexavalent), lead, silver, molybdenum, cobalt, nickel, barium, titanium, vanadium, antimony, beryllium, thallium, sodium, tin, tetraethyl lead, ethylmercuric chloride (purge and trap gas chromatography-
Atomic fluorescence spectrometry), boron and asbestos determination methods.

3 Terms and definitions
The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 5750.1 and GB/T 5750.3-2023 apply to this document.
4.Aluminum
4.1 Chrome Azure S spectrophotometry
4.1.1 Minimum detection concentration
The minimum detection mass of this method is 0.20μg. If 25mL of water sample is taken, the minimum detection mass concentration is 0.008mg/L.
Copper, manganese and iron in water interfere with the determination. 1mL ascorbic acid (100g/L) can eliminate the interference of 25μg copper and 30μg manganese. 2mL thiol
Acetic acid (10 g/L) can eliminate the interference of 25 μg of iron.
4.1.2 Principle
In the pH range of 6.7 to 7.0, aluminum reacted with octylphenyl ether (OP) and cetylpyridinium bromide (CPB).
Chrome azure S reacts to form blue-green quaternary micelles, which are quantified by colorimetry.
4.1.3 Reagents
4.1.3.1 Chrome azuro blue S solution (1 g/L). weigh 0.1 g of Chrome azuro blue S (C23H13O9SCl2Na3) and dissolve it in 100 mL of ethanol solution (1 1)
