Copper and copper alloys -
Part 25. Determination of boron content
1 Scope
This section specifies the determination of copper and copper alloy of boron content.
This section applies to the determination of copper and copper alloy of boron. Measurement range. 0.0010% to 0.025%.
2 principle of the method
The sample compound was dissolved in hydrochloric acid, nitric acid, phosphoric acid, sulfuric acid decomposition of boron in acetic acid - ammonium acetate buffer medium, boric acid and curcumin shape
A colored compound, measuring the absorbance at a wavelength at 540nm.
3 Reagents
Unless otherwise indicated in the analysis using only recognized as analytical grade reagents and distilled or deionized water or equivalent purity.
3.1 copper (Cu mass fraction ≥99.99%, boron content < 0.0001%).
3.2 sulfate (ρ1.84g/mL) pure class distinctions.
3.3 phosphate (ρ1.71g/mL) pure class distinctions.
3.4 nitrate (ρ1.40g/mL) pure class distinctions.
3.5 hydrochloric acid (ρ1.19g/mL) pure class distinctions.
3.6 acetic acid (ρ1.05g/mL) pure class distinctions.
3.7 acetic acid - sulfuric acid mixed acid. water cooling, stirring sulfuric acid (3.2) slowly into an equal volume of acetic acid (3.6) in.
3.8 acetic acid - ammonium acetate buffer solution. Weigh 225g of ammonium acetate was dissolved in 400mL of water, 300mL of acetic acid (3.6), the solution was applied
Polypropylene filter to 1000mL volumetric flask, dilute with water to volume, and mix.
3.9 sodium fluoride solution (40g/L). Store in a polypropylene bottle.
3.10 curcumin acetic acid solution (1.5g/L). Weigh 0.15g of curcumin {[CH3O (OH) C6H3CH = CHCO] 2CH2} in polypropylene
Ene or quartz vessel, add 60mL of acetic acid (3.6) and mix. At 40 ℃ water bath, stirring constantly. After complete dissolution, cool, and transferred
In 100mL polypropylene volumetric flask, dilute to the mark with acetic acid, and mix.
3.11 boron standard stock solution. Weigh 0.2860g of boric acid (excellent pure), in the 250mL beaker, add about 200mL water dissolve. will
Solution into 500 mL volumetric flask, dilute to the mark, shake. Store in a polypropylene bottle. This solution containing 1 mL
0.100mg boron.
3.12 boron standard solution. Pipette 25.00mL boron standard stock solution (3.11) in 500mL volumetric flask, dilute to the mark, mix
uniform. Store in a polypropylene bottle, this solution 1mL containing 5.0μg of boron. The time is now equipped with.
4 Instrument
4.1 Spectrophotometer.
4.2 polypropylene or quartz containers, containers with acetic acid (3.6) after rinsed, washed with water and dried.
5 Sample
Thickness of less than 1mm debris.
