Copper and copper alloys -
Part 21. Determination of titanium content
1 Scope
This section specifies the determination of copper and copper alloys in the titanium content.
This section applies to the determination of copper and copper alloys in the titanium content. Measurement range. 0.050% to 0.30%.
2 principle of the method
Sample was dissolved in nitric acid, sulfuric acid solution, the hydrogen peroxide is added to form a yellow complex with the titanium so that, at the wavelength of the spectrophotometer
Absorbance was measured at 410nm.
3 Reagents
Unless otherwise indicated in the analysis using only recognized as analytical grade reagents and distilled or deionized water or equivalent purity.
3.1 nitric acid (1 + 1).
3.2 sulfate (1 + 1).
3.3 Hydrogen peroxide (1 + 9).
3.4 Titanium standard solution. Weigh 0.1666g previously burned by 950 ℃ to constant weight and titanium dioxide (excellent pure) after cooling in a dryer,
In a dry 250mL beaker, add 30mL sulfuric acid (ρ1.84g/mL), heated to dissolve, when close to dissolve completely, adding 5g
Solubilization of ammonium sulfate, dissolved completely, and cooled to room temperature. Moved into 1000mL volumetric flask, dilute with water to volume, and mix. This solution 1mL
Containing 100μg titanium.
4 Instrument
Spectrophotometer.
5 Sample
Thickness of less than 1mm debris.
Step 6 Analysis
6.1 Sample
Weigh 0.400g sample (5). Accurate to 0.0001g.
6.2 Determination of the number of
Independent secondary measurement averaged.
6.3 blank test
6.3.1 along with sample blank test with water as a reference measuring absorbance.
6.3.2 Weigh a sample, but without addition of hydrogen peroxide, other steps according to analysis, the solution for the sample solution as reference solution.
6.4 Determination
6.4.1 The sample (6.1) was placed in 150mL beaker, was added 5mL of nitric acid (3.1), cover sheet pan, heated to dissolve completely, in addition to boil
To nitrogen oxides. Washed with a little water table dish and cup wall. Added 10mL sulfuric acid (3.2), low temperature evaporation to take the white smoke of sulfur trioxide, remove
Cooled, washed with water and dish table Beibi.
