Copper and copper alloys -
Determination of phosphorus content. Part 2
1 a method phosphomolybdic heteropoly acid - crystal violet spectrophotometric
1.1 Scope
This method specifies the method for determination of copper and copper alloys phosphorus content.
This method is applicable to the determination of copper and copper alloys phosphorus content. Measurement range. 0.00005% 0.0005%.
1.2 Principle of the method
Sample with nitric acid - sulfuric acid mixture dissolved. Expulsion of nitrogen oxides to 1A/dm2 ~ 2A/dm2 current density electric lift copper in dilute
Sulfuric acid medium, in the presence of polyvinyl alcohol, phosphorus vanadium molybdenum heteropoly acid and crystal violet red ionic association formed at a wavelength spectrophotometer
Measured at 545nm absorption degree.
1.3 Reagents
Unless otherwise indicated in the analysis using only recognized as analytical grade reagents and distilled or deionized water or equivalent purity.
1.3.1 nitric acid (1 + 1).
1.3.2 sulfate (0.5mol/L).
1.3.3 mixed acid. 5 per unit volume of nitric acid (ρ1.42g/mL), 2 per unit volume of sulfuric acid (ρ1.84g/mL) and 13 units of volume of water and mix.
