1 Scope

This document describes the methods and conditions for measuring the levels and spectral characteristics of noise emitted by railway rolling stock and other various types of rolling stock: This document applies to: --- Type test of rolling stock; ---Dynamic acceptance of projects; ---Periodic supervision inspection; --- Conventional noise measurement; --- Environmental impact assessment measurement: The results can be used to: --- Characterize the noise emission characteristics of railway and urban rail transit trains; --- Compare the emission noise of various types of rolling stock in a specific section; ---Get basic train sound source data: Note 1: The type test measurement method is engineering grade (level 2, accuracy is ±2dB): Engineering grade is the preferred level for noise disclosure (see GB/T 19052): If the measurement conditions (such as vehicle conditions or track conditions, etc:) are relaxed, such as monitoring and measuring trains during operation, the results will no longer meet the requirements: Engineering grade: Note 2: The acceleration or deceleration measurement methods are all simple level: NOTE 3 Additional guidance for measurements on light rail vehicles under specific conditions is given in Annex A:
