part.
--- Part 1.General requirements;
--- Part 2.Particular requirements for electric irons;
--- Part 121.Particular requirements for professional ice cream machines.
This document replaces GB 4706.24-2008 "Particular requirements for the safety of household and similar electrical appliances - washing machines" and
Compared with GB 4706.24-2008, in addition to structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.
--- The "Scope" chapter adds that this document does not apply to "washing machines equipped with steam generating devices with a steam pressure exceeding 50kPa" (see
Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the.2008 edition);
--- Added the requirements for washing machines with steam generating devices in the definition of "normal operation" (see 3.1.9);
--- Added the terms and definitions of "agitator washing machine", "pulsator washing machine", "drum washing machine" and "steam generator" (see
3.5.101, 3.5.102, 3.5.103, 3.6.101);
--- Added instructions for use of the appliance (see 7.12);
--- Added requirements for temperature rise measurement on relatively flat external accessible surfaces (see 11.3);
--- Added the maximum temperature rise limit requirements for external accessible surfaces under normal operating conditions (see 11.8);
--- Added requirements for the number of water inlet valves for each test, as well as the requirements for the characteristic parameters and composition of the rinse agent (see 15.2);
--- Added the requirements for "rated voltage" and detergent dosage in the operating conditions of the appliance (see 15.101);
--- Changed to add "Appliances subjected to overload operation test shall have electronic circuit protection devices" and its test requirements (see 19.9,.2008
19.9 of the year);
--- Added the fault condition of "steam generator running without water" (see 19.101);
--- Added relevant content on software evaluation (see 20.102, 20.104, 20.105, 22.101);

--- Added the content of software evaluation (see Appendix R);
--- Deleted the requirements for rinse agents in the appendix (see Appendix AA of the.2008 edition);
--- Added a test liquid for aging test of synthetic rubber parts (see Chapter 5 in Appendix BB);
--- In Appendix CC, 22.6 is amended to use a solution containing 5 g of detergent specified in Appendix AA per liter of distilled water instead of colored water;
--- Some notes are changed to the main text (see Notes 2 and 3 in CC.22.202, Notes 2 and 3 in CC.22.202 of the.2008 edition);
---Appendix DD is changed to informative appendix; some contents about the instructions for use of the appliance are changed (see 7.12 in Appendix DD,
7.12 in Appendix DD of the.2008 edition); Added switch control requirements for electric water squeezers (see DD.20.201).
This document is modified to adopt IEC 60335-2-7.2019 "Safety of Household and Similar Electrical Appliances Part 2-7.Particular Requirements for Washing Machines"
beg".
The technical differences between this document and IEC 60335-2-7.2019 and their reasons are as follows.
---The working water temperature setting is changed to 50℃, considering that there are a large number of double-tub washing machines in my country, whose shell is made of plastic and is not suitable for long-term use.
For water contact with a temperature of 65°C or above, the maximum water temperature during the performance test is also 50°C (see 3.1.9).
The following editorial changes were made to this document.
--- The name of the standard is changed to "Safety of Household and Similar Electrical Appliances Part 24.Particular Requirements for Washing Machines", and the standard content is enhanced.
Coordination of the system;
--- Added table numbers to the table of rinse agent ingredients in 15.2.
Please note that some of the contents of this document may involve patents. The issuing organization of this document does not assume the responsibility for identifying patents.
