1 Scope
This document specifies the materials, requirements, inspection rules, packaging, marking, transportation and storage of transparent microcrystalline glass for mobile display cover.
The corresponding test methods are described.
This document applies to the production, inspection, delivery and acceptance of chemically strengthened transparent glass-ceramics for mobile display cover panels.

3 Terms and Definitions

3.1
Transparent glass-ceramics
Glass with a specific composition is obtained by controlling crystallization to obtain a transparent material in which a microcrystalline phase and a glass phase coexist.
4 Materials
Before chemical strengthening, the refractive index, photoelastic constant, elastic modulus and fracture toughness of transparent microcrystalline glass should be tested according to the provisions of Appendix A.
The refractive index and photoelastic constant shall be determined by the supplier and the buyer. The elastic modulus shall be no less than 90GPa and the fracture toughness shall be no less than
0.9MPa·m1/2.
