1 Scope

This document stipulates the risk identification of infectious diseases transmitted through contact at inbound and outbound ports, risk assessment of cross-border transmission at ports, risk warning and information communication and the content and requirements of disposal. This document is applicable to on-site prevention and control and emergency response of persons/cases infected with infectious diseases and persons/suspected cases infected with infectious diseases through contact. Disposal. This document does not apply to on-site prevention and control measures for pathogens found during quarantine inspection of inbound and outbound transportation vehicles, goods, and articles.

The following terms and definitions apply to this document. 3.1 Direct contact with the skin, mucous membranes, secretions, body fluids, blood, vomitus, excrement of infected persons/cases, or indirect contact with contaminated environments Infectious diseases that are spread through the environment, objects, and live animals. Note 1.Contact-transmitted infectious diseases are divided into severe contact-transmitted infectious diseases and general contact-transmitted infectious diseases according to their pathogenicity. Note 2.See Appendix A for a list of common infectious diseases transmitted through contact. 3.2 Persons entering or leaving the country who have been medically confirmed to be infected with a quarantine infectious disease transmitted through contact.
