Introduction
This document is mainly aimed at small organizations. It provides an overview of the requirements of GB/T 45001-2020 and provides guidance for small organizations.
It provides methods for implementing these requirements to help them establish an occupational health and safety management system.
Although the main purpose of implementing an OH&S management system is to prevent death, injury and ill health, there are many other benefits.
These benefits include.
--- Improve the organization's occupational health and safety performance and protect those who work for the organization and those who may be harmed by the organization's activities;
---Better management of occupational health and safety risks;
---Better identification of opportunities to improve occupational health and safety management;
---Better incident investigation methods;
---A more collaborative culture to foster greater employee engagement and empowerment;
Note 1.In this document, when it is necessary to emphasize the employment relationship with the organization, the term "employee" is used. When it is necessary to emphasize that the employee is in a front-line position, the term "employee" is used.
The word "worker".
Note 2.In GB/T 45001-2020, "worker" is given a relevant definition as a special term.
Note 3.In my country, “worker” and “employee” are synonymous with “laborer”.
--- Committed to proactive occupational health and safety initiatives that are consistent with our business priorities;
---Improve the quality of products, processes and services;
---Good workplace atmosphere;
---Improve employee recruitment and increase employee retention rate;
---Better image and reputation (among customers, suppliers and the community).

This situation is more destructive.
Based on the order of chapters in GB/T 45001-2020, the corresponding chapters of this document are in accordance with the provisions of each chapter of GB/T 45001-2020.
The requirements are explained separately, noting why the requirement is important, giving hints on how to meet it, and giving examples to
Meet the needs of the organization.
This document does not add or change the requirements of GB/T 45001-2020, and only provides "suggestions". There are many ways to meet the requirements.
It is crucial for each organization to develop a system that suits itself.
GB/T 45001-2020 and other management system standards (such as GB/T 19001 for quality and GB/T 24001 for environment)
The high-level structures of these standards are identical, and many of the requirements in the standards are also identical and can be easily integrated into an organization’s business processes.
However, there are also significant technical differences between the standards. For example, GB/T 45001 provides specific requirements for occupational health and safety.
If the organization implements other management system standards (such as GB/T 19001), then most management systems are applicable to
Many general requirements already exist (e.g., understanding the organization's context, competence, documented information, internal audit, nonconformity and corrective action).
When the organization is required to meet the occupational health and safety management system requirements beyond the general requirements, it is its task to incorporate them into its existing management system and meet these requirements.
Part of the occupational health and safety specific requirements.
All management system standards use the same simple concept. Plan, Do, Check, Improve. This is often referred to as the "PDCA cycle".
For explanation and description of the PDCA cycle method of GB/T 45001, see Table 1.
Table 1 Explanation and description of the PDCA cycle method of GB/T 45001
When implementing an occupational health and safety management system, an organization needs to understand its environment - who the organization is, what the organization does, where the organization is located,
Who may be at risk of injury or damage to their health. Organisations also need to take the lead in making their workplaces healthy and safe and enable workers to participate in it.
Planning (Plan). Planning what needs to be done to prevent injury and ill health in the workplace and how it will be done.
Implementation (D.Do). Do what the organization wants to do according to the organization's plan.
Check (C.Check). Check the working status.
Improvement (A.Act). Solve problems and find ways to make what the organization is doing more effective
