This standard replaces GB/T 4450-1995 "marine steel blind flange."
This standard compared with GB/T 4450-1995, mainly for the following changes.
--- Canceled AS type, BS type DN10mm specifications;
--- Expanding the nominal diameter size, DN expand from 500mm to 1000mm;
--- A type, AS type DN300mm more plus a drill holes;
--- Modified type B, BS, type of structure and size.

1 Scope
This standard specifies the flange connection dimensions according to GB/T 569 and GB/T 2501 marine blind steel flanges (hereinafter referred to as blind flange)
Classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging and storage.
This standard applies to nominal pressure not more than 1.6MPa, medium is air, water, fresh water, and oil temperature not higher than 300 ℃ steam
Steam blind flange design, manufacture and acceptance.
