Zinc oxide direct method of chemical analysis methods
Part 5. Determination of the amount of manganese
Flame Atomic Absorption Spectrometry
1 Scope
GB/T 4372 provisions of this part of the determination of the direct method zinc oxide manganese content.
This section applies to the determination of the direct method zinc oxide manganese content. Determination range of 0.0001% to 0.0010%.
2 Method summary
Sample dissolved in nitric acid, ferric hydroxide as a co-precipitating agent, a large number of trace manganese and zinc substrate separated and enriched, atomic test solution
Absorption spectrometer wavelength 279.5nm measured absorbance in the working curve method for the determination of manganese content.
3 Reagents and materials
Unless otherwise indicated in the analysis using only recognized as analytical reagents; the water is deionized water, the resistivity of not less than 18.2MΩ.
3.1 ammonium persulfate.
Nitrate 3.2 (ρ1.42g/mL).
3.3 Hydrogen peroxide (ρ1.44g/mL).
3.4 ammonia.
3.5 nitric acid (11).
3.6 nitric acid (19).
Hydrogen peroxide 3.7 - nitrate mixture. 100mL nitric acid (3.6) was added 5mL of hydrogen peroxide (3.3).
3.8 ferric chloride solution. Weigh 1.43g ferric chloride in 300mL beaker with water wet, add 30mL of nitric acid (3.5), to be dissolved completely shifted
500mL flask, washed with water several times a beaker and poured into a volumetric flask, dilute to the mark, and mix the solution 1mL iron 2.0mg.
3.9 manganese standard stock solution. Weigh 0.1000g of manganese metal (wMn≥99.99%), placed in 300mL beaker, add 20mL of nitric acid
(3.5), and heated to dissolve completely cooled. Moved into 1000mL volumetric flask, dilute with water to volume, and mix. This solution 1mL containing 100μg manganese.
3.10 Manganese standard solution. Pipette 2.5mL manganese standard stock solution (3.9) in 100mL volumetric flask, dilute with water to volume, and mix. this
Solution 1mL manganese 2.5μg.
4 Instrument
Atomic absorption spectrometer, with a manganese hollow cathode lamp.
Under optimum working conditions, can be achieved by the following indicators can be used.
Sensitivity. In line with the measurement sample solution matrix solution, characteristic concentration of manganese should not exceed 0.020μg/mL.
Precision. measuring the absorbance at 10 times the highest concentration of the standard solution, the standard deviation should not exceed the average absorbance of 1.0%; most
Low concentrations of the standard solution (not a zero standard solution) absorbance measured 10 times, and the standard deviation should not exceed the mean absorbance of the highest concentration of the standard
0.5% luminosity.
Linear curve. The curve is divided into five sections according to concentration, than the difference between the absorbance of the absorbance difference between the highest and the lowest segment segment,
It should not be less than 0.7.
