Foreword
The analysis method of GB/T 4333 ferrosilicon is divided into 9 parts.
--- GB/T 4333.1 Determination of silicon iron content - Perchloric acid dehydration weight method and potassium fluorosilicate capacity method;
---GB/T 4333.2 Ferrosilicon chemical analysis method 铋phosphorus molybdenum blue method for the determination of phosphorus;
--- GB/T 4333.3 Ferrosilicon chemical analysis method potassium periodate spectrophotometric determination of manganese content;
--- GB/T 4333.4 Determination of ferrosilicon content - chrome azurol S spectrophotometry, EDTA titration and flame atomic absorption
Spectroscopy
--- GB/T 4333.5 Determination of ferrosilicon, manganese, aluminium, calcium, chromium and iron content - Dispersion X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy
Glass film method);
--- GB/T 4333.6 Determination of chromium content of ferrosilicon - Diphenylcarbonyl hydrazide spectrophotometric method;
--- GB/T 4333.7 Determination of sulfur content of ferrosilicon - Infrared absorption method and chromatographic separation of barium sulfate gravimetric method;
--- GB/T 4333.8 ferrosilicon chemical analysis method for the determination of calcium by atomic absorption spectrometry;
---GB/T 4333.10 Determination of carbon content of ferrosilicon Infrared absorption method.
This part is the sixth part of GB/T 4333.
This part is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This part replaces GB/T 4333.6-1988 "Chemical analysis method of ferrosilicon by diphenylcarbazide photometric method for the determination of chromium content". This section
Compared with GB/T 4333.6-1988, the main technical changes are as follows.
--- Revised the range, the measurement range (mass fraction) is adjusted from 0.100% to 0.600% to 0.010% to 0.600% (see Chapter 1,
Chapter 1 of the 1988 edition);
--- Added normative references (see Chapter 2);
--- Modified the solution to be added to the diphenylcarbazide ethanol solution is anhydrous ethanol (see 4.9, 3.9 edition of 1988);
--- Increased sampling and sample preparation (see Chapter 6);
--- Increased the number of measurements (see 7.2);
--- Modified the analysis steps, such as "smoke perchloric acid for about 3min" to "continue to heat up the evaporation of perchloric acid to the solution about 4mL left
Right"; "to fully oxidize the chromium and completely dissolve the ammonium persulfate" was changed to "the solution appeared stable red and then kept the solution slightly boiling
5min, sufficient oxidation of chromium and complete decomposition of ammonium persulfate" (see 7.5, 5.3 edition of 1988);
--- Modified the content of the allowable difference, replacing the "permitted difference" with the repetitive limit r and the reproducibility limit R obtained by statistics (see Chapter 9,
Chapter 7 of the 1988 edition);
--- Added the content of the test report (see Chapter 10).
This part was proposed by the China Iron and Steel Association.
This part is under the jurisdiction of the National Iron and Iron Alloy Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC318).

1 Scope

3 Principle
The sample is dissolved with nitric acid and hydrofluoric acid, and the perchloric acid is smoked to remove silicon. In the silver nitrate solution, ammonium persulfate is used to oxidize chromium to a positive hexavalent amount.
The amount of sodium carbonate solution is such that iron, manganese and other elements are precipitated and separated from chromium. Divide part of the filtrate to make hexavalent chromium and diphenylcarbonyl in sulfuric acid medium
The diterpene reaction produces a purplish red compound, and its absorbance is measured at a wavelength of 550 nm of the spectrophotometer to calculate the mass fraction of chromium.
4 reagents
In the analysis, unless otherwise stated, only the reagents confirmed as analytically pure are used, and the test water is the third and third grades specified in GB/T 6682.
Distilled water or water of comparable purity.
4.1 Nitric acid, ρ = 1.42 g/mL.
4.2 Hydrofluoric acid, ρ = 1.15 g/mL.
4.3 Perchloric acid, ρ = 1.67 g/mL.
