1 Scope

GB/T 4325 provisions of this part of the determination of the amount of chromium molybdenum. This section applies to molybdenum powder, molybdenum, molybdenum trioxide, ammonium molybdate determination of chromium content. Determination range of 0.00020% to 0.015%.

2 Method summary

Samples with sulfuric acid, ammonium sulfate decomposed to beryllium hydroxide as a carrier in pH8 ~ 9 co-precipitation of chromium, and molybdenum separation. The precipitate was dissolved in sulfuric acid, Plus two phenyl hydrazine with carbonyldiimidazole chromium complexes formed purple, absorbance was measured.

3 Reagents

Unless otherwise indicated in the analysis using only recognized as analytical reagents and secondary distilled water or equivalent purity. 3.1 ammonium sulfate (excellent pure). Anhydrous sodium sulfite 3.2. 3.3 sulfate (ρ = 1.84g/mL). 3.4 sulfate (1mol/L). 3.5 ammonium hydroxide (ρ = 0.90g/mL), ultra-pure. 3.6 phosphate (11). 3.7 beryllium sulfate solution (20g/L). 3.8 potassium permanganate solution (3g/L). 3.9 sodium azide (50g/L). 5g sodium azide were dissolved in 100mL water. 3.10 bath. a solution of ammonium sulfate (10g/L), ammonium hydroxide (3.5) was basified to pH8 ~ 9. 3.11 diphenyl hydrazine acetone solution of carbonyldiimidazole (5g/L), with the preparation. 3.12 phenolphthalein ethanol solution (1g/L). 3.13 chromium standard stock solution. Weigh 0.2263g pre-drying at 140 ℃ ~ potassium dichromate 150 ℃, dissolved in water, the water moved 1000mL volumetric flask and dilute to volume, and mix. This solution 1mL containing 80μg chromium. 3.14 Chromium standard solution. Pipette 5.00mL chromium standard stock solution (3.13), placed in 100mL beaker, add 20mL water, 5mL sulfur Acid (3.3), the number of tablets (approximately 3mg) of anhydrous sodium sulfite (3.2), boil rush sulfur dioxide, cooled and transferred to 200mL volumetric flask, dilute with water Diluted to volume, and mix. This solution 1mL containing 2μg chromium.

4 Sample
