4 Principles
The coated seeds are repeatedly dropped freely from a fixed height and separated through a sieve. Use the active ingredient method or colorimetric method to determine the drop
The remaining active ingredient content or dyeing dose on the treated seeds is compared with the control sample to calculate the adhesion of the sample.
Note. Seeds are cereal, corn and sunflower seeds, other types of seeds will be evaluated if used.
5 reagents or materials
5.1 Extraction solution. a solvent or mixed solvent with high solubility for active ingredients and dyes.
5.2 Active ingredient standard sample. known mass fraction and meets the analysis requirements (not required for colorimetric method).
5.3 Filter. The pore size of the filter membrane is about 0.45μm.
5.4 Water. freshly steamed twice-distilled water or ultrapure water.
6 instruments
6.1 Ultrasonic cleaner.
6.2 Erlenmeyer flask. 250mL.
6.3 Graduated cylinder. 100mL.
6.4 Glass petri dish. 150mm in diameter or other specifications that meet the requirements.
6.5 Adhesion measuring device (see Figure 1).
