1 Scope
This document describes the test method for optical uniformity of glass instruments and gives the optical uniformity classification of glass instruments.
This document is applicable to optical uniformity testing and grading of glass instrument products, and other transparent hollow glass products should be implemented as a reference.

3 Terms and Definitions
GB/T 35599, GB/T 29159 and the following terms and definitions apply to this document.

Interference color interferencecolor
The color change of the heterogeneous body due to the change of the optical path difference under the microscope condition of orthogonally polarized light.

Tensile stress tensile stress
The force exerted on an object by stretching.

Uniformity test uniformitytest
The state of interference color and interference fringes when orthogonally polarized light passes through a glass sample is used to evaluate the quality of glass uniformity.

4 Test Principle
