1 Scope
This document specifies the OID coding structure of grid settings, grid positioning and grid identification related to geographic location information.
This document applies to the construction, management and application of geographic location information databases and related systems.

Grid
The space area enclosed by two or more sets of curves (surfaces).

The following abbreviations apply to this document.
OID. Object Identifier (ObjectIdentifier)
5 Earth divisions
The four subregions of the earth's surface divided by the earth's equator and the prime meridian are set as the first subarea, the second subarea, the third subarea and the third subarea.
4 partitions and assign corresponding codes respectively.
The partition codes and coverage are as follows.
a) The first division, covering. 0°~90°N latitude, 0°~180°E longitude, code. 1.
b) The second zone, covering. 0°~90°N latitude, 0°~180°W longitude, code. 2.
c) The third zone, covering. 0°~90° south latitude, 0°~180° west longitude, code. 3.
d) The 4th zone, covering. 0°~90° south latitude, 0°~180° east longitude, code. 4.
