1 Scope
This document specifies the method summary, equipment, measurement procedures and result calculations for the determination of the amount of secondary slime in the coal preparation plant.
This document is applicable to the determination of the amount of secondary slime in a wet coal preparation plant.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
Primarycoalslimecontent
The mass percentage of the raw coal with a particle size of less than 0.5mm.
3.2
Secondary coal slime content
The secondary slime produced in the whole production process of the coal preparation plant accounts for the mass percentage of the raw coal.
3.3
Total slime content
After the coal preparation plant is sorted, the total of all products with a particle size of less than 0.5mm will account for the mass percentage of the raw coal.
3.4
Filtercake bulk density filtercakebulkdensity
The mass of the filter cake per unit volume including solid particles, moisture, and pores.
4 Method summary
There are two methods for determining the amount of secondary slime.
Method 1.Test the amount of primary slime and the total amount of slime in each production class, the difference between the total amount of slime and the amount of primary slime, that is, the amount of secondary slime.
Method 2.According to the monthly comprehensive test report of the coal preparation plant, use the statistical calculation method to obtain the amount of primary slime and the total amount of slime in the coal preparation plant.
The difference between the amount of coal and the amount of primary slime is the amount of secondary slime.
