1 Scope

This standard specifies the structure, technical requirements and verification methods of the active drag head of a trailing suction dredger. 3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document. 3.1 Draghead It is a digging device installed on the front end of the rake arm of a trailing suction dredger, which is composed of a fixed part, a movable part, a suction cavity and a rake tooth. 3.2 Fixed body helmet The drag head component connected with the rake arm flange of the trailing suction dredger. 3.3 Visor The drag head component is hinged to the fixed body and can rotate within a certain angle range relative to the fixed body. 3.4 Activedraghead The relative angle of the movable cover of the drag head and the fixed body can be adjusted in real time.
