Physicalgateway
A gateway device deployed on the broadband customer side in the broadband customer gateway virtualization scenario.
3.2
Physical residential gateway
A gateway device deployed on the customer side of a broadband home in a broadband customer gateway virtualization scenario.

Physicalbusinessgateway
A gateway device deployed on the client side of a broadband enterprise in a broadband customer gateway virtualization scenario.

Virtual gateway
A collection of gateway functions deployed on the network side in the broadband customer gateway virtualization scenario.
