3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
Photovoltaic glass module photovoltaicglassmodule
It is a product that is composed of glass, photovoltaic cells, packaging materials, bus bars, insulating tape, terminals and other materials, and has a power generation function.
3.2
Component base light transmittance lighttransmittanceofthetransparentareainthemodule
The transmittance of the light-transmitting area in the component in the visible light band (380nm~780nm).
3.3
Ratioofthetransparentareatothetotalareaofthemodule
The proportion of the area of the light-transmitting part of the module to the total area of the module.
3.4
Lighttransmittanceofthephotovoltaicglassmoduleusedinbuilding
The visible light transmittance of the component.
Note. The light transmittance of the module is the product of the basic light transmittance of the module and the area ratio of the light-transmitting area of the module.
4 categories
According to the different light transmission modes of the components, the components can be divided into the following three categories.
a) Spacing type components
Crystal silicon or thin-film batteries are connected to each other and encapsulated inside the glass, and there is a considerable distance between the batteries so that the components can transmit light
The components are shown in Figure 1.
