1 Scope
This document applies to combinations of equipment such as resistors, fuses, relays, contactors, transformers, rotating equipment and similar equipment (e.g. complete sets of equipment).
This document establishes the marking and labeling of terminals of electrical equipment (including terminals of electrical equipment). It is also applicable to the marking of certain specific conductor terminals.
These conductor colors and alphanumeric symbols apply to conductors in accordance with general rules to avoid confusion and ensure safe operation.
For core wires, busbars and electrical equipment as well as cables or devices.
This document mainly proposes basic safety requirements and is mainly used by technical committees in accordance with IEC Guide 104 and ISO /IEC Guide 51.
