1 Scope
This standard specifies the technical requirements for the preparation and storage of full tailings paste, as well as its testing methods, discharge technology, and storage yard technical requirements.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

Total tailings
Unsorted full-grain tailings discharged from metal and non-metal mines after ore sorting.
3.2
Totaltailingspaste
Using whole tailings as the main material, matched with other aggregates, cementing materials, and mixed with water to form a paste without layering, no precipitation, and slight bleeding

Pastedisposal
The process of sending the whole tailings paste to the storage yard for stockpiling.
3.4
Slump
Under its own weight, the difference between the final height of the paste naturally slumped and the height of the slumping cylinder.
