This standard applies to the two-component mixture of cross-linked lyocell fiber and viscose fiber, cupra fiber or modal fiber. This standard does not apply to mixtures that contain cross-linked lyocell fibers that have been severely chemically degraded, nor do they apply to mixtures that contain viscose fibers, cupra fibers or modal fibers that cannot be completely dissolved. |

1 Scope
This standard specifies the use of formic acid/zinc chloride method to determine cross-linked lyocell fiber, viscose fiber, cupro ammonia fiber after removing non-fibrous substances
The method of fiber content in the two-component mixture of Vi or Modal fiber:
This standard applies to the two-component mixture of cross-linked lyocell fiber and viscose fiber, cupra fiber or modal fiber:
This standard does not apply to mixtures containing cross-linked lyocell fibers that have been severely chemically degraded, nor does it apply to mixtures containing certain
Mixture of viscose fiber, cupra fiber or modal fiber that cannot be completely dissolved:

GB/T 2910:1 Textile Quantitative Chemical Analysis Part 1: General Test Rules
3 Principle
According to the difference in solubility of cross-linked lyocell fiber, viscose fiber, cupra fiber and modal fiber in formic acid/zinc chloride solution
(See Appendix A), use formic acid/zinc chloride solution to dissolve viscose fiber, cupra fiber or modal fiber from a mixture of known dry mass
The solution is removed, the residue is collected, washed, dried and weighed, and the percentage of the dry mass of the mixture is calculated with the corrected mass: By difference
Calculate the mass percentage of the second fiber:
4 Reagents and materials
4:1 Unless otherwise stated, only use analytical reagents: Use the reagents and materials specified in GB/T 2910:1 and 4:2~4:5 of this standard:
4:2 Formic acid/zinc chloride solution: 20g anhydrous zinc chloride (mass fraction >98%) and 68g anhydrous formic acid add water to 100g:
Note: This reagent is harmful to humans, and proper protective measures should be taken when using it:
4:3 Sodium sulfide solution: add 5:0g of sodium sulfide into 100mL of 70 ℃ water, shake well: The solution should be prepared immediately:
Note: SOS powder is a dangerous chemical, easy to spontaneously ignite, and irritating: Please read the safety instructions and other related materials carefully before use:
Good protective measures:
4:4 Acetic acid solution: Take 40mL of glacial acetic acid and dilute to 1L with water:
4:5 Sodium dodecyl sulfonate solution: Dissolve 1:0 g of sodium dodecyl sulfonate in 1L of water:
5 Apparatus and equipment
5:1 Use equipment specified in GB/T 2910:1 and 5:2~5:4 of this standard:
