Requirements for riveting of composite parts for civil aircraft
1 Scope
This standard specifies the general requirements, process control and quality control for the riveting of composite parts.
This standard is applicable to solid rivet riveting and core-pulling rivet riveting of civil aircraft composite laminates.
2 Normative references
The following documents are essential for the application of this document. For dated reference documents, only the dated version applies to this article
Pieces. For the cited documents without date, the latest version (including all amendments) applies to this document.
GB/T 116 rivet technical conditions
GB/T 6026 Industrial acetone
3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
Laminated mixedparts
Composite materials and composite materials, composite materials and metal materials are sandwiched and riveted to form components.
3.2
Wet installation wetinstalation
Install the sealant in the rivet hole, on the rivet rod and under the rivet head.
4 General requirements
4.1 Personnel
Composite material riveting and testing personnel should have composite material knowledge and professional grade certificates and be certified to work.
4.2 Environment
4.2.1 The riveting and assembly area of composite materials should be clean and bright. Generally, the temperature is 15℃~30℃, and the relative humidity is 40%~
80%, when the technical documents have provisions, they shall be implemented as required.
4.2.2 Dust generated from hole-making and grinding construction should be cleaned up and should not pollute the environment and the parts.
4.2.3 There should be good ventilation and dust removal facilities indoors.
4.3 Materials
4.3.1 Core-pulling rivets should be preferred to avoid impacts on composite parts and damage to the hole wall due to the thickening of the nail rod.
4.3.2 The diameter of the rivet should generally not exceed 4mm, otherwise it is not only difficult to form, but also easy to cause damage to the composite material parts. Meet the knot
Where required by the structure, flat or semi-round nail heads should be used as much as possible.
4.3.3 The selection of rivets and washers used for riveting of composite material parts should meet the requirements of engineering drawings, usually titanium alloy or stainless steel
