The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
Fracture toughness
K1C
The critical stress intensity factor necessary for the growth of cracks under loading pressure is used to characterize the material's ability to prevent crack growth.
4 Equipment
4.1 Vernier caliper. measuring range 0mm ~ 300mm, accuracy 0.02mm.
4.2 Micrometer. Measuring range 0mm ~ 25mm, accuracy 0.01mm.
4.3 Image measuring instrument. Accuracy is 0.001mm, other measuring instruments with suitable magnification function are also available.
4.4 Drying box. With automatic temperature adjustment device, it can keep the temperature between 105 ℃ ~ 110 ℃.
4.5 Material testing machine. The accuracy of the sensor of the testing machine is less than or equal to 1%, and the recommended maximum load of the sample is 10% of the sensor range.
90%. The test fixture requirements are shown in Figure 1. The upper and lower fulcrum rollers can roll freely, and the roller diameter is 0.75 to 1.5 times the sample height.
