1 Scope

This document defines the terms and definitions of rescue helmets, stipulates their classification and marking, technical requirements, signs and instructions for use, etc. The test method is described. This document is applicable to the head protection worn in production safety, road traffic, natural disasters and other accident rescue and related activities in industrial, mining and commercial enterprises. Design, manufacture and inspection of protective equipment. This document does not apply to head protection equipment worn by firefighters during emergency rescue.

3 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document. 3.1 rescue helmetrescuehelmet Used in rescue and related activities to prevent or reduce the risk of injury from objects hitting, collision, impact, flames burning, falling (falling), etc. Protective equipment that does not cause head injuries.
