1 Scope

This standard provides procedures and methods for the identification and assessment of the risk of sudden environmental events (hereinafter referred to as “environmental risks”) on the onshore oil pipelines. Technical guidance and recommendations for environmental risk and emergency management, leakage prevention and emergency environmental response. This standard applies to the environmental risk assessment and prevention and control of onshore crude oil and long-distance pipelines. This standard does not apply to stations and oil depots attached to oil pipelines.
