1 Scope
This standard specifies the crushing requirements, cleaning requirements, drying requirements, sorting requirements, granulation and modification requirements, and comprehensive utilization of waste plastics.

This standard does not apply to the recycling of waste plastics listed in the National Hazardous Waste List.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions as defined in GB/T 2035 and GB/T 20861 apply to this document.
3.1
Waste plastic wasteplastics
Abandoned various plastic products and plastic materials, including scraps and edges generated during the production and processing of plastic raw materials and plastic products.

3.2
Broken shredding
