GB/T 3781 "acetylene black" is divided into the following parts.
---Part 5. Determination of coarse fractions;
---Part 6. Determination of apparent specific volume;
---Part 8. Determination of the amount of hydrochloric acid absorbed;
--- Part 9. Determination of resistivity.
This part is the ninth part of GB/T 3781.
This part is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This part replaces GB/T 3781.9-2006 "acetylene black black part 9. determination of electrical resistivity", and GB/T 3781.9-2006
The main technical changes are as follows.
---Modified normative references (see Chapter 2);
--- Removed the "Note" of 5.1;
--- Change the drying temperature of the sample from (105 ± 2) °C to (125 ± 2) °C (see 5.2, 7.2);
--- Modified "slowly add 50cm3 dibutyl phthalate" as "using a cylinder to measure 50cm3 dibutyl phthalate slowly

1 Scope
This part of GB/T 3781 specifies the method for determining the electrical resistivity of acetylene black.
This section applies to acetylene black.

3 Principle
The sample is placed in a basic insulating dibutyl phthalate, which is dispersed uniformly and formed into a stable shape by the action of a power agitator.
The fixed suspension measures the resistivity of the suspension to characterize the strength of the conductivity.
4 reagents and materials
4.1 Dibutyl phthalate, analytically pure.
4.2 Ethanol, 95% by volume, chemically pure.
4.3 Standard reference acetylene black, SRAB1, GB/T 12827.
5 instruments
5.1 Resistivity meter, accurate to 0.01 Ω·m. The cell specifications are shown in Figure 1.
5.2 Oven, gravity convection type, temperature can be controlled at (125 ± 1) °C, temperature uniformity ≤ ± 5 °C.
5.3 Vacuum dryer with an effective desiccant.
5.4 Analytical balance with a resolution of 0.1 mg.
5.5 Measuring cylinder, capacity 50cm3, accuracy 1cm3, in line with GB/T 12804A.
5.6 beaker, 150cm3, inner diameter 55mm.
