1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, order content, size, shape, technical requirements, test methods of nickel-based and iron-nickel-based corrosion-resistant alloy welding strips
Laws, inspection rules, packaging, signs and quality certificates.
This standard is applicable to nickel-based and iron-nickel-based corrosion-resistant alloy welding ribbons (hereinafter referred to as welding ribbons) for submerged arc surfacing welding and electroslag surfacing welding.

3 Terms and definitions
The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 37609 apply to this document.
4 Order content
The contract or order for ordering according to this standard shall include the following.
a) Number of this standard;
b) Alloy grade;
c) Specifications (see Chapter 5);
d) Weight (or quantity);
e) Smelting method (see 6.2);
f) Delivery status;
g) Special requirements (if necessary, see 6.5).
5 Dimensions, appearance, weight
5.1 Dimensions and allowable deviation
The size and allowable deviation of the welding strip should meet the requirements of Table 1.The dimensions and allowable deviations beyond those specified in Table 1 should be negotiated between the supplier and the buyer.
5.2 Appearance
5.2.1 Welding ribbons are usually delivered in coils. Each coil is composed of a welding strip, the inner diameter of the coil is 305mm±5mm.
5.2.2 The bend of the sickle within 1m of any length of the ribbon should be no more than 2mm.
5.2.3 Burrs are not allowed on the edge of the welding ribbon.
5.3 Weight
The ribbon is delivered in actual weight. Usually the weight of a single roll is 25kg~50kg, and a small amount of small rolls with a single roll weight not less than 15kg is allowed
Delivered, but its weight should not exceed 15% of the total weight of the batch.
6 Technical requirements
6.1 Grade and chemical composition
The alloy grade and chemical composition (finished product analysis) should meet the requirements of Table 2.For comparison of domestic and foreign brands and unified digital codes, see
6.2 Smelting method
The alloy is smelted by vacuum induction furnace, or vacuum induction furnace and electroslag remelting. After negotiation between the supplier and the demander, it can also be used to meet this standard
Other smelting methods required by standards.
6.3 Delivery status
The welding strip is delivered in a cold rolled state.
6.4 Surface quality
The surface quality of the welding strip should meet the relevant regulations of GB/T 37609.
6.5 Special requirements
According to the requirements of the buyer, after negotiation between the supplier and the buyer and indicated in the contract, the following special requirements can be provided.
a) Welding ribbons with grades and chemical compositions other than those in Table 2 can be provided;
b) Strict chemical composition or limit residual element content;
c) Testing mechanical properties;
d) Others.
7 Test method
7.1 Inspection items and test methods
The inspection items and test methods of the welding strip should meet the requirements of Table 3.
8 Inspection rules
The inspection rules of the welding strip are in accordance with the relevant regulations of GB/T 37609.
9 Packaging, marking and quality certificate
The packaging, marking and quality certificate of the welding tape shall comply with the relevant regulations of GB/T 37609.
