1 Scope
This standard specifies the polarizing microscope-X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscope-X-ray diffraction qualitative of asbestos in electronic and electrical products

5 Reagents and materials
5.1 Asbestos standard samples. chrysotile asbestos, crocidolite, anthophyllite asbestos, amosite, tremolite and actinolite asbestos.
5.2 Refractive index oil (immersion oil). a) chrysotile asbestos immersion oil refractive index n25D=1.550; b) crocidolite immersion oil refractive index = n25D1.700; c) amosite immersion oil
Oil refractive index n25D =1.670 or 1.680; d) Anthophyllite and tremolite immersion oil refractive index n25D =1.605; e) Actinolite immersion oil refractive index
n25D=1.640 or 1.630.
